I don't think that will work: we should really try to plan for 3 weeks, and given the work week I'm not sure I'll be able to work on this before Monday, which leaves us with less than 2 weeks.

We can try to set July 13 as deadline, but also be ready to not have translations by then.

Also: we've never done snippets for Arabic, we need to see how (if) it works.

Do you have an example or a mockup of this widget? It's really hard to localize without context.

One thing I'm missing: can you provide the target links for each snippet?

I provided relevant links below.  

I will need to circle back with an example for the email widgets and character limits.   It's basically a message that will pop up when you send yourself the download link for Firefox.  I believe character limits will align with snippet character limits.

Thanks for the links. For the email widget, there's at least one string that looks like a button, so it's going to have a pretty short maximum length.
Exposed the snippets, I'll update the notes as soon as you manage to provide a link to a test snippet/mockup for the widget.

NI explicitly, because there are several strings in that list that were never requested...

More notes (sorry but I started going through the other strings that were not part of the original request).

Some of the character limits for those strings are not OK (14, 35): they're basically the same of English, we need more of that (usually at least a +30% from English).
As a rule of thumb, to make requests faster please remember that we always need:
* Character limits.
* Links.
* Design, mock-ups or online examples for more complex scripts.

pt-BR started localizing strings, turns out we have issues even with the length of other strings in that widget.

"Send me a link": 14. 
We need at least 20 characters (I currently set that as limit), probably more. You might have to tweak the layout and move the button below the text area.

"Also available from Google Play.": 35
"Learn more on our privacy policy.": 35
The design seems to have plenty of space for them. I temporarily put 70 to avoid flooding localizers with error messages.

"An error occurred. Please check your information and try again.": 70
"Success! Please check your device for the download link.": 100
Both strings are in the same space in the images, not sure why the different limits. I put 100 also in the first one.

One more addition to comment 11: when we have this kind of complex snippets, we should try to start the discussion way ahead of the final request.

We're still missing Portoguese, I think there's a bit of confusion in the tool (they see all the files, the one we need is not complete).

It also looks like the French translations are missing.  They are showing complete in the tool but the translations are not in the file.

(tried to ping you on IRC). Can you try in a private window or with a forced refresh (e.g. CMD+R on Firefox Mac)? I definitely see them, so it might your browser's cache.
