Doing a performance profile from DevTools view on the Ignite foxfooding phone, the profile starts ok, and the IDE shows it to be running ok, but clicking on the profile button to stop profiling, nothing happens, and the profile button stays in the pressed down state, and the UI shows as if profiling is still going on.

I suppose this belongs to the Gaia Customizer app.

This doesn't sound like Customizer, it sounds like WebIDE. There is no profiling button/view in Customizer.

I don't think I understand what "performance profile from DevTools view on the Ignite foxfooding phone" means.

Can you be more specific?

The STR is to

1. Connect device via USB to laptop.
2. Enable ADB and DevTools connection in phone developer options.
3. Open WebIDE in Firefox on laptop.
4. Open, install and run some packaged app on the phone.
5. Click on the spanner icon to start debugging the app.
6. Go to the Performance tab, click on the stopwatch icon to start profiling.
7. Profile for a while, and then click on the stopwatch icon again.

Observed: Nothing happens when clicking the stopwatch icon for a second time, but the stopwatch icon stays in held down state.

Expected: Profiling should finish and the captured profile should show up.

This should be under the devtools performance tools. Anyone on devtools team have a device? What fxos version and desktop version? Anything in the browser console?

The FXOS version is 

Firefox OS 3.0.0.0-prerelease

Desktop version is Firefox Nightly 42.0a1 (2015-06-30).

I don't see anything particular in console, just prints from the application I am debugging.

Closing this -- a few remote debugging issues were fixed since then, and others tracked in bug 1199284
