User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/7.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; rv:11.0) like Gecko
Steps to reproduce:
First discovered in TB 38.0.1, still present in nightly 38.1.0 from 2015-07-07 with new profile. Problem appears to not be affected by whether the email account is POP3 or IMAP4, for an empty set of folders or a well-established profile.
- Select "Search Messages" and create a search folder that shows a mail that can safely be deleted - could be received, could be created as draft, again doesn't appear to matter; for example "status isn't read"
- View the search folder
- Shift-Delete to permanently delete the message
- For any other mail message that can safely be deleted, whether it matches this search folder or not, view the folder the mail is in
- Shift-Delete to permanently delete the message
Actual results:
In the search folder, the message is correctly deleted but no confirmation is displayed.
In the mail folder, the confirmation is displayed as expected.
Expected results:
The confirmation prompt should appear in the search folder in exactly the same way as it does for the mail folder.
