After multiple attempts to get our current mdt builds to work with mdt 2013 and windows 2012 It looks like with some tweaking the new version of mdt can run on 2008 r2 which circumvents several compatibility issues experienced in the test environments. I have snapshotted the wds server and I am beginning the live mdt update. Q

MDT workbench upgraded. It looks like XP roll-outs are getting a bcdboot error on deploy. Troubleshooting that issue.
:vladc reports that neither xp now w8 reimages are working.

Windows 7, 8 and 2008 touch less installs confirmed working. XP is proving to be a different story. Pre vista support was pulled in mdt 2012 sp1 and is not in 2013 sp1 at all. This shouldn't be an issue because will not be rolling new version of the XP deployment base as no updates will be available for the XP OS software. However, the install process had some customizations in the light touch (LTI) apply and zero touch (ZTI) scripts that got over written in the upgrade. I am working on porting in those features or removing them from the process to get XP working. Q
Updated provision share winpe now mdt update can be run
This is now in place and after fighting multiple upgrade issues in older OSes it looks like we are sticking with this version.
