User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:39.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/39.0 Build ID: 20150630154324 Steps to reproduce: (automatically) upgraded to 38.1.0 (1) moving up/down e-mail titles list in a folder (2) double-click an e-mail title to open it Actual results: a bad gui behavior: text/graphic elemnts are not refreshed, black element/window contents. (results of step 1) some e-mail titles dissapear (and then re-appear) (results of step 2) specific e-mail window opens but not fresh: the window content is black. then, by slightly changing the window size i can see the e-mail text. i have downgraded back to 31.8.0 in order to work normally. Expected results: normal gui behavior.

tsvikah, thanks for that info. Do you still see a problem in version 45 with HWA enabled? If you do still see problems, is it better with (in this order) 1. current beta version from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/channel/ ? 2. latest NVIDIA driver ?

I have enabled the HWA flag now (Thunderbird version 45.6.0 ; restarted, played a little), and everything seems OK. No problems found.
thanks
