In bug 1203052 we hit the case that a bad merge caused a view to rely on a removed string and this wasn't detected straight away.
We should consider having some sort of test to make sure the strings are present - for example, maybe the ui-showcase could load the english strings, though we'd have to do separation of desktop and standalone to make sure the right ones were loaded.

This is something I've had sitting in a branch for a while, but I wanted to test out the taskcluster integration. It found a bug so that's good :-)
