It would be nice to have a page to download the plugins supported by the current
milestone.
The tweaks needed to make non-mozilla plugins to work in mozilla should also be
given.
The links/tweaks could be submitted by mozilla users.
A good example is the flash plugin. You have to first click download, then go to
the table of recommended plugins and download/install the plugin for netscape.
Another example is the getright plugin. You have to install the opera plugin to
make getright work in mozilla.

Reassigning to Dawn, who coordinates milestone release info. Not sure who the
QA contact ought be for this, but it's not me. so giving both to Dawn.

what opera plugin? you mean you need to install the getright plugin
into opera before it works in mozilla?
What's hard about flash installation? I did this recently and I
don't remember having to do anything special. I went to a flash
site, got the missing plugin dialog, and followed the directions.
If you want to start such a document, that would be great.

-> taking QA contact so I don't need to watch Dawn anymore. ;)

Similar to: http://home.netscape.com/plugins/manager.html
Also, Netscape.com is planing on upgrading the Plugin Finder Service to provide
more seamless plugin installations using XPIs. Maybe mozilla.org could offer
some resources to extend branding?
http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/
This is it.
It even has a tip, to install the real player plugin, without installing NS4x first.
The 'about:plugins' should have s link to http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/, not to
netscape.com

for the sanity of bug 54561 tracking, leaving bug 104506 out of the
dependency tree
