User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; rv:41.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/41.0
Build ID: 20150929144111
Steps to reproduce:
1: install latest firefox. notice that it will also install the same version of maintenance service, in that case 41.0.1. (image 1)
2: install latest TB v38.3.0.
3: the maintenance service will be auto downgraded to the version matching TB. (image 2)
Actual results:
the maintenance service was downgraded to the version TB has bundled, while a higher version was already present in the pc.
i think it wasn't possible for this to happen.
Expected results:
maintenance service should always remain in the higher version that any new program installs, and never downgrade to a lower version.

i would like to report that i installed TB 38.7.0 and it replaced the maintenance service (v.45) from FF 45 to it's own.
my initial request that the maintenance service should never downgrade is still valid.

This is due to the installer overwriting the registry entries that are displayed. The maintenance service itself isn't downgraded.
