Also happens on Windows 8.1 in non-classic design. Works as expected on Xubuntu.

Happens on Ubuntu 14.10 for me--at least the huge padding.  Haven't noticed skew animation, but then I'm not running a notification center or anything like that.

Jared, can you take a look at this?

This seems to be caused by the padding on the window, and its default background color. Setting that to transparent and setting moz-appearance: none doesn't seem to be enough to get a transparent window, though (it stays white).

I'm not sure what is buggy about the skew. Alice0775, the animation was supposed to look like http://phlsa.github.io/fx-notification-animation/index.html (click Notify to see the animation).

Yes, it is.

It does not meet the standard animation of windows's popup/dialog etc.....
it quite odd, ugly and crazy animation.
It is an almost insane idea for Windows.

We should keep this open to track the UI issue and probably disable the animation until it can work as intended.

While this is a valid bug, I do not believe this would be release blocking. I don't feel the need to track this bug. Please nominate patch for uplift to Aurora44 when ready and I will take it if deemed low risk.

This was fixed by fixing bug 1219458.
