Actual results: Shared folders are not accessible: in the window the folders can not be selected. Expected results: I would like to be able to access shared folders from another computer on the network to attach a file. If I install version 38.2 it works fine. Excuse me for bad english Greetings

Thanks for the great detective work. This isn't an ideal test, but does the problem also occur if you run the beta from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/channel/ ?

I also tried to install version Daily 45.0a1 and the problem is still present.

I noticed that this bug does not only affect Thunderbird, but also Firefox (45.0.1 here) : I'm not able to access shared folders when I chose File > Open file. I can neither access shared folders when I'm picking files to upload (for example). So it's clear not limited to Product: Thunderbird, but rather due to a common component.
