nexus-6p-6 began losing its network connection this morning and has not been able to recover. The symptom where it reboots is due to its automatic recovery strategy where it copies a good copy of the wpa_supplicant.conf to /data/misc/wifi and then reboots. This has been helpful in the past when network disconnections happen due to a corrupted wpa_supplicant.conf file but does not help in cases where the disconnection is due to a weak signal.
I've disable the device which should mean that it will not attempt to recover by rebooting.
The attached dumpsys wifi output shows an RSSI of -80 for the 5Ghz ateam ssid which is typically too weak to be useful.

not sure why this phone is having authentication problems. i had to forget the ateam network and re-enter for it to work. phone now has a valid IP.
