+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1250766 +++
After Adobe fixes the CDM's Pentium 4 and SSE2 crashes, we can re-enable using the Adobe GMP for decoding when system H.264/AAC codecs are unavailable.
This means Windows XP, Windows Vista, and N/KN Windows variants without the Media Feature Packs installed will be able to decode and play MP4/H.264/AAC video.

There appears to an issue with Pentium 4 CPUs which still needs to be investigated. P4 CPUs support SSE2.

Per bug 1288582, we will no longer enable Adobe CDM on WinXP. But this bug is still valid for N/KN editions.

We no longer have access to an Adobe CDM, so closing this.
