Steps to reproduce:
Open Firefox in a fresh profile
Open any page in reader view mode (for example, you can open this in reader view mode: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firefox)
For better result scroll throw a big paragraph (as screenshot)
Click to Narrate button then click to start button ▶
Before completing narrate the whole paragraph hit the stop button ⏹
Then click again to the start button ▶
Actual results:
The narrator start from next paragraph. It's doesn't complete the paragraph where it was stopped.
Expected results:
It should start from the exact point where it was stopped.

For me, it restarts to narrate the same paragraph. I think it's normal. It's the difference between a stop and a pause button. And I don't know if the narrator must have a pause button. It will be useful for long text, but a lot of paragraph is not long.

Eitan, I thought this got fixed in bug 1255261, but it seems here and in the dupe, folks are using 49 release which should have that fix - on the other hand, I see no reports for later versions.
Is anyone still able to reproduce this issue on more recent versions of Firefox?

Ah, no, they're not - the buildids are from beta builds, and 1255261 was fixed in beta, on a later buildid.
