Details

In Messenger compose window, I set the focus (from JS) into the first recipient
input field when editor is done loading the page but the focus still in the
body.

It works well on Windows and Unix.

mac-specific focus problem.  Simon, I'm guessing this is really hyatt's, but I
thought you should get a crack at it before I pass it on to him to make sure it
isn't something we're doing wrong.
David, if this looks like a dup of a bug you already have, please do the honors
and dup it away.
Was this with GFX or native widgets? If the latter, please test with GFX wigets
on, and see if it goes away.
It's on Mac therefore I thing is with native text widget as GFX Text isn't yest activated on Mac
We still have the problem with today's build. Simon what the status?

It'd be news to me if Gfx text controls were not turned on by default on Mac.
What makes you think they aren't, JF? There is a debug pref to force native
widgets.  Please make sure you don't have this turned on.  Support for native
widgets is VERY low on the priority list!
GFX text widget are on by default on Mac. Therefore if a GFX Text widget matter.
