[Note]:
- Create 'browser.tabs.remote.force-enable' preference and set it to true. Restart the browser.

[Affected versions]:
- Nightly 52.0a1 2016-09-21

[Affected platforms]:
- Microsoft Surface Pro 2 with Win 10 64-bit

[Steps to reproduce]:
1. Open about:config page
2. Touch scroll the page
3. Double tap a preference to modify it's value

[Expected result]:
- about:config page is scroll-able and the values can be modified when tapping on them

[Actual result]:
- Cannot touch scroll the about:config page
- Nothing happens when double tapping a preference
Same issue as bug 1302736, it uses a XUL tree which doesn't support touch scrolling yet.

kats, is this something that needs to be fixed in the XUL tree impl or in the widget layer?

I believe it needs to be fixed in the XUL tree implementation. I was planning on looking at it today or tomorrow.

The patches I wrote for bug 1302736 will fix this as well. Parking this bug with me.
