[Note]: - Logged based on Bug 1305945 Comment 8 [Affected versions]: - Firefox 52.0a1 (2016-10-26) [Affected platforms]: - Windows 10 x64, Mac OS X 10.11.6, Ubuntu 16.04 x64 [Steps to reproduce]: 1. Launch Firefox. 2. Enable RDM. 3. Search for an available string (Ctrl+F). 4. Disable RDM. [Expected result]: - The searched string is still displayed in the search bar and the string is also selected in the displayed page. [Actual result]: - The string is still selected on the displayed page, but it's deleted from the search box. (see https://i.imgur.com/1ziKx7C.png) [Regression range]: - This is not a regression.

I can't confirm that the search text is cleared. However, following the STR clears the highlights on the page and trying to adjust the search term after disabling RDM crashes the tab. Might be related to bug 1536444.

Marking this issue as Resolved-WORKSFORME since the issue is no longer reproducible on Firefox 131.0b8, or on Firefox 132.0a1. Tests were performed on Windows 11.
