From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:0.9.9) Gecko/20020311 BuildID: 2002031104 in the bookmark's title, spaces are replaced with "%20". hen managing bookmarks, when I move bookmarks around, bookmarks in subfolders appear in their folder, and at the bottom of the list also... these were bookmarks imported from ie. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. import bookmarks from ie (mine were the ones mozilla created during install) 2. manage bookmarks. move them from subfolders to root and vise-varsa 3. see what happens Actual Results: I had a "FreeBSD" folder with about 10 bookmarks.. Almost all of the bookmarks were in the root folder, and all were in their "FreeBSD" folder. Trying to delete the root bookmarks did nothing. deleting the one from FreeBSD made it look gone from that folder, but when I re-opened the "manage bookmarks" window, all was how it should be. no freebsd bookmarks in root, all of them in "freebsd" Expected Results: geez, this is in depth. =)
Okay, what I think we have here is: 1. Spaces are replaced with %20. This is bug 130079, everyone's favorite dupe lately. But before we hastily mark it as so, we also have-- 2. Some strangeness with either where bookmarks appear to be stored or where they actually are stored. Certainly this might be a dupe too, but I wasn't able to find it (granted it's late here, so I might have missed it). Can anyone find a dupe for (2)?
Resummarizing. This looks like a refresh issue. Ken, please try to keep it to one issue per bug report.

I think this is actually a dupe of either: - bug 101174 (no indication that Imported IE Favorites are read-only) - bug 68858 (rename to "View IE Favorites") If the reporter agrees, and changes the dupe number, any remaining problems will get fixed sooner. Since this is a dupe, I'm removing it's blocker status towards bug 120814.
