This is a post-migration development request. Right now, when looking at an article's history and comparing two versions, the changes are highlighted as follows: - deletions - strikethrough - additions - underlining We would like to have the CSS for these tweaked to the following: - deletions - red text highlight - additions - green text highlight This is requested as part of improving the user experience of contributors using article history as a means of tracking changes when updating related articles in other languages. It should also make tracking changes easier for editors of source (English) content.

adding this comment about colour blind users from 1345846: QUOTE Would colour-blind users be able to see different in highlighting? If not, what other format should we consider for this? Maybe, since the code is displayed as HTML anyway, we could (additionally to using the colour highlights) make the added text bold and the removed text italicized? END QUOTE

This customization might be used by the Lithium Customization: KB editor page should show both the English (source) and localized text for localizers in bug 1345865
