From softvision testing of async drawing, video on fivethirtyeight plays back choppy.

This is a side effect of windowless (non-accelerated) rendering. we're painting as fast as we can in this case, on some systems this isn't fats enough. We're willing to live with this.

For site authors, the work around is to use wmode=direct.
