I know we've had gazillions of tabbed-browser discussions, but I thought another
one wouldnt hurt too much :-)

At home I've got a three-button mouse and I use tabbed-browsing a lot: Middle
click a couple a of links, browse through the results, find what I was looking
for and close a couple of other tabs (while they are not focused) by
middle-clicking the tabs.

On my notebook though I do have only two buttons (and I don't really like the
various third-mouse-button-simulation add-ons). When it comes to closing tabs I
need to focus them first and use the "close-[X]" or close them using the
context-menu. 

It'd be great if I could close a tab (while it's still in the background) by
ctrl-clicking it -- and this would IMHO seamlessly fit into the exisiting usage
concept :

middle click link --> open tab
middle click tab --> close tab

ctrl click link --> open tab
ctrl click link --> nothing?

seems to conflict with RFE bug 132674

I think shift+click should close like in mIRC (bug 121873), and ctrl+click 
should turn a tab into a window (bug 133393).

Another solution: double-click a tab to close it.
