The window controllers on macOS are overlapping with the first/main tab for me testing the latest beta 56.b2

I don't see this issue with TB 56.0b2.

Albert, please can you try with Add-ons disabled (see Help menu)?

I figured, as no one else reported this issue. macOS 10.11.6 happening with both beta versions for me, 56.0b1 as well as 56.0b2.
Even with Add-ons disabled and reinstalling the German or the US version I get the same result. If you can come up with something else I can try, please let me know.

Note, I just downloaded and installed 55.0b1 to check if it could have to do anything with the new profile, but with 55 it works fine.

Note 2 (sorry for the bug spam), my non-test version which just updated to 56.0b2 (64-bit) does not have that problem. As I said before, please let me know if anyone can think of anything (else) I can test on new installed version.

The non-test version uses a different profile, true? You could try in your affected profile, with TB closed, to rename the xulstore.json to something else. If you have a localstore.xul rename this too or delete it, it's no more used. Then restart and check if the issue is gone. Renaming xulstore.json will reset all your customizations and it this helps, you have to redo all.

I followed those steps, started, but saw that I still had v55 installed from my previous test. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled v56. Now the issue doesn't show anymore, not even if I use the renamed xulstore.json again.
