From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020417 BuildID: 2002041711 trying to use mail and news... first time: a few minutes setting up an account, everything's okay, then when i click on a message to open it mozilla freezes and i end task. second time: restart browser, get to read messages, a few minutes, then i go to use the address book. insert three addresses. mozilla freezes and i end task. third time: restart browser, immediately go to address book to (a) confirm three addresses were saved (yes) and (b) continue adding addresses. however, about ten seconds after the address book is opened, mozilla freezes and i end task. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.open mail and news 2.perhaps do something for a few minutes if you have the opportunity, or maybe not. 3.try to close any mozilla window. fail. be frustrated and end task. Actual Results: nothing. luckily though, browser restarted just fine and i never lost any data that i entered in address book, server settings, etc. Expected Results: allowed me to add to address book for as long as i needed to, or read all my messages in one session, etc.

The Address Book freeze problems may be related to bug# 126328.

Shit, I wanted to add a Talkback, but after 6 crashes in line now I can open addressbook again and again without any problem :-/
WinXP / 2002053012 / JRE 1.4.0-rc WFM, also this bug was encountered using an old (3+ weeks) build of Mozilla, if this bug persists using a current build, please get this bug reopened.
