Seen while running 20170927100120 on 10.13. For me it only happens using the default theme.

STR:
1. Update to latest build using default theme
2. Observed attached screenshot
Forgot to add you can see the text fine when you select the tab, it only occurs when it is not selected.
The default theme should have a dark tab bar with vibrancy. But in your screenshot, the tab bar is light gray. Do you have webrender enabled?
It looks like you have Firefox customized to display the title bar. Can you confirm? Is this intermittent and does a restart fix it? Is a Firefox update the only way to trigger this?

This only happens when the title bar checkbox is unchecked in Customize. When it is checked the problem goes away and the text renders fine with the default theme.
Summary: [10.13] Text too light when using default theme → [10.13] Text too light when using default theme and title bar unchecked in Customize
Could you post a screenshot that shows the entire title bar? It is not clear from the posted screenshot if the top part in the screenshot is part of the title bar or another grey window in the background. Does a restart fix the issue? Thanks!
The issue doesn't get fixed by a restart. I changed my desktop background to try to make the issue more visible (it is light magenta). You can see the light text in both the Pandora, NY Times and the last bugzilla tab. This screenshot is without the title bar box checked in Customize.

Yes, you are right. I forgot I had turned it back on the other day. Should I resolve this invalid?
Resolving this invalid. Sorry for the noise.

The lack of vibrancy with webrender is tracked by bug 1386162 and bug 1379295.
