The initial patch did not include localization, but we need it before we can flip it on for all channels.

There is also bug 1682333, perhap we can use that one for the remaining work if any?

This one was supposed to be a meta, even if it's not labeled as such. There's one bug left indeed, I don't know what the current bugzilla practices say, but I'm fine with either keeping it open or closing it, as you wish.
