I noticed that different parts of content would disappear from our internal Jira bug detail pages when I hover over some of the active links or other editable widgets (probably things that have a hover state). I tried to reproduce on two different public Jira instances, but unfortunately wasn't able to.

I did make a mozregression run, which resulted in this range:

Meaning either bug 1418945 or bug 1417947 is at fault.

There's not much I can do without a publicly available testcase.

Dirkjan, does this reproduce if you save an offline copy of the page? If so, would you be able to share that (with any private content removed)? Emailing it to me is fine if you don't want it publicly available.

Otherwise we'll have to wait for the same issue to show up somewhere else, and I'll fix it there.

Unfortunately it's impossible to save the HTML in a way that I get the right layout -- I guess there's a lot of JS involved. However, I have created a trial Jira on Atlassian cloud, which is free for 7 days. There, I was able to reproduce it. Shall I add you as a user so you can investigate?

My Jira instance is expiring. Let me document the steps to reproduce so you could setup your own instance.

1. Use a modern Jira instance (for example, a free trial Jira instance on atlassian.net)
2. You need editing privileges on some issues in the Jira instance (create one)
3. It appears that the issue needs at least one comment and/or one attachment to trigger the bug
4. Then, hover over the right-hand editable widgets (for Assignee/Reporter/Watchers)

This makes some other content disappear/flicker. If I wait, it will be redrawn after a few seconds.

Well done! For me with your test case, I only see it glitching onmouseout from the first line.
