There is no any information about what this study/experiment does in its description, like in past when all study/experiment had at least some information with Mozilla bug URL attached to see more detailed information.

There's a new 1.0.4 version of the add-on that has more information in the description.

According to bug 1424977, comment 21, this was introduced in bug 1423003. That's marked private, so that not even Mozilla employees can view it. Hiding security-sensitive reports from the general public is to be expected. But hiding promotional materials in the same way isn't something that should happen.
