User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:58.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/58.0 Build ID: 20180208175844 Steps to reproduce: Thunderbird, when an attachement is big, offers to upload to Box.com, and include a link in the email. Actual results: If a file with the same name has already been uploaded, Thunderbird asserts it is 'unable to upload'. But I can upload that very same file to box.com directly, it is given an alternate location, called 'v2' at box.com's storage site: https://rochester.app.box.com/folder/3382788108 Expected results: Thunderbird should just upload the file, and let Box.com handle the duplicate file name issue, and inform the emailer that he/she had earlier uploaded a file with the same name.

Text quoted from the support question suggests this is the same bug.

File versions not working when uploading files to Box in Thunderbird.

According to Box the API call needs to be changed. Here is the response from Box:

"Thank you for the provided information. I can see that the error being recorded is a naming conflict error, so it makes sense that the issue is resolved once you change the file name. The reason that this error is being thrown instead of the file version being incremented is that there is actually a different API call for uploading a new file version as opposed to just uploading a file: https://developer.box.com/reference#upload-a-new-version-of-a-file-1. So the app would need to be configured to make this API call in these scenarios. "

Upon re-reading bug report 1332940 mentioned in previous comment - it is only one of the comments by 'script' that mentions the same issue. So 'script' may have entered issue in wrong bug report.
Fails with "Unable to upload Test.pdf to Box" when the file exists on box.com. If the file does not exist yet on box.com, then FileLink works like a charm.
Something in the upload logic is probably wrong. TB 45.8.0, Ubuntu 16.10 64bit.

Box.com has been removed from TB, it is now an add-on available for TB 68. It that doesn't work, please contact the author:
