User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0
Build ID: 20180503164101
Steps to reproduce:
1. Disabled Mail Remote
2. Added exceptions to the list
Actual results:
After a restart, all exceptions are gone.
Expected results:
The exceptions should have been save on exit, or loaded on start.
Thunderbird 52.7.0
linux 4.4.126-48-default x86_64
Since last week TB has been erasing on exit, or simply not saving or loading, exceptions to blocking HTML email content (edit :: references :: privacy :: Mail Content). I do not know what may have changed to cause this.
I have gone to the Privacy page, opened Exceptions, selected Save Changes. All have disappeared on restart.
I was referred to site <https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1205029>. The suggestion there made no difference.

Same issue on OpenSuse 42.3 on several machines.
Adding an exception from the pref button in the e-mail or from the edit pref menu adds the address entries and they can be seen in the exceptions dialog list.
On restarting Thunderbird the list is cleared.

I still can't reproduce this problem.
I did notice that some emails from the local cultural trust and local library did not show remote content. Upon investigation the email addresses were different than the ones saved.
One would be events@trust(dot)org and another customerservice@trust(dot)org. The events address I had Allowed, the other address hadn't been Allowed. The name of the organizations in the Correspondents column would be the same.
I'll continue to monitor the 52.8.0 update once (if) Ubuntu releases it.
