Steps to reproduce:

I'm have many problems with the way I use the bookmarks.

I can't prioritize the bookmarks items, but if I sync only the recently used?
Or sync the recently used first?

And about the number, my suggestion is config to set the order of items ans the limit too.

Can I customize the query of sqlite from GUI?

Many problems with syn because I'm crazy and have many bookmarks.


Expected results:

No problems and way to limit and order items to Sync...

Hello,

Considering that bug 1309930 is still open, I think that this bug should address the enhancement suggestion you made, rather than the occurring issue where not all bookmarks get synced.

So what you think would really help, when syncing bookmarks is:
 1. To choose which bookmarks get synced;
 2. To set a max limit of the bookmarks being synced.

Please confirm is I understood correctly. 
Furthermore, please provide more info on the second item as I am not sure about it's logic.

 1. To choose which bookmarks get synced; 

 Reply: But more related to groups... Like the top 100 items, ordered by 
 access count or last visit. 

 2. To set a max limit of the bookmarks being synced.

 Reply: To configure first item precision.
 Reply 2: I have a lot of bookmarks, and the SQLite can't do the select when synchronize, because
 the timeout break the operation. The idea is limit the select result count to allow the select work.

I can't organize my bookmarks, but auto rules should be useful.
Here I'm for more details if needed.

Thanks for the report! We don't have any plans to allow partial syncing of bookmarks, but figuring out how to get large bookmark sets to sync correctly is definitely important. Lina, is there an appropriate meta-bug about bookmark sync issues that we could link this under so we don't lose track of it?
