Steps to reproduce:

I built a recent firefox trunk from mozilla-central (bisected to this: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1470047) and then ran it in a wlroots-based compositor (sway 1.0 alpha).

I asked in the #sway irc channel on freenode, and they seemed to think it was a firefox bug.  They noted the large number of registries and the large number of keypress events for each keypress in the attached log.
Attached is a WAYLAND_DEBUG log.


Actual results:

Lag between my keypresses and the corresponding action being rendered, with it seeming to increase over time.  In addition, some of my modifiers were not recognized, especially control, although this may be a separate issue (using ctrl+t just printed t).


Expected results:

I should have been able to use ctrl+t to open a new tab, and my keypresses should have rendered near-instantly.

Just reporting that this issue is now appearing in the latest stable version (63.0).

This seems to be fixed by this (https://treeherder.mozilla.org/#/jobs?repo=autoland&revision=ca9f1be1f8e80839902aced5f0191775e083505c&selectedJob=213520423), although I'm still encountering some unrelated problems related to clipboard support.
