Dao, any idea how we usually test/fix these types of issues, especially without access to a high contrast theme? Is there an easy way to simulate the activation of this theme in the browser?

Is there an easy way to simulate > the activation of this theme in the browser? No... A VM with Ubuntu should do the trick. This appears to be a more fundamental bug that manifests in many different places. E.g. I see the same on <select>s on this very bugzilla page.
