I think we have many shutdown hang bugs on file which are more concrete and more actionable then those collected here, mostly driven by shutdown crash reports from our terminator or other specific instrumentation. Notable are: meta bug 1358898, bug 1588498, bug 1505660, bug 1395542 and many more.

I'd propose to just close this one as it seems to not add much value to have parallel collections (and here I see only a few bugs).
