Steps to reproduce:
Start my browser and have a few (>30, <100) tabs open. Go to about:support.
Actual results:
It says
Web Content Processes: 5/4
And indeed, looking at htop, I can see that Firefox spawned 5 processes even though processCount is set to 4 (seems to be the default).
Expected results:
It should only spawn 4 processes.

hi, i think that's the intended result - next to web content from tabs there are also a number of other tasks (https://wiki.mozilla.org/Electrolysis#Overview) that might be outsourced into a separate process and which don't count towards the preference for content processes that is surfaced in the UI.
That might be what is happening. Showing "5 of 4" processes in about:support however is at least rather confusing.

There's a number of cases that can put the number of processes above what was specified. The number specified is for "normal" web content, but things like a file:// tab open might cause a dedicated process created for it.
We should probably figure out a way to filter those

We should probably report the breakdown by process type, but we definitely should keep reporting non-"web" processes. It's easy enough. Just iterate over children of ppmm and check `getChildAt(i).remoteType`

This is blocking bug 1513045, I'm guessing because having the privileged process will exacerbate this on production.
If it's something which we actually want to have before enabling privileged content processes, can we bump priority up from P5, as we'll want it within Fission-M2
