From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.1a) Gecko/20020611
BuildID: 2002061104 (1.1 alpha)

While reply and forward some HTML message, Mozilla got problems...

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Reply / Forward(as inline) some specifc HTML message (I'll attach the source
later)
2. Reply : you will see the wrong placement of signature (from sender).
3. Forward: Strange composing message. Just a mass...

Actual Results: Replay : signature of orignal sender should be placed at the
buttom.
Forward : it should display correctly, and meaningfully.

If the OA contact needs the source sent directly to his mail box, please inform me.
My environment is Win98SE + 1.1 Alpha.
1.0 + Win2000 also got the same problem.
The problem with the wrong placment of the signature is a known problem
currently assigned to editor team if I am right. This is a visual problem during
the composition! If you send the message, the signature will correctly show at
the bottom of the message.

Hello Jean-Francois Ducarroz,

How about this case with "forwarding as inline" ?
Can you reproduce it ?
Any problem to reproduce this, please let me know.
Thanks a lot.
When you send the message, does it appears ok on the receiver side?
Also, I wonder if you are not seeing bug 146584 too.

No, forwarding (as inline) this kind of message, the appearance on the
receiver side is not correct.

I did not see bug#146584 before.
But I think it's not the same.
Hello Jean-Francois Ducarroz,

I'll put another attachments to describe the issue later.
Thanks
The orignal message is made as following,
1. going to http://tw.news.yahoo.com/2002/07/08/relaxation/udn/3361922.html and
then copy
    the news I want
2. paste it into composing window.
3. send out.
Message just lost

Using Netscape 7.0 on either Mac OS X or Win2K, I am not able to reproduce this
problem. Here is what I did:

1) I went to http://tw.news.yahoo.com, click on an acticle
(http://tw.news.yahoo.com/2002/10/08/society/ctnews/3579214.html)
2) Copy the acticle content (from the title up to the link at the bottom)
3) Open an HTML compose window with a one line plain text signature
4) past the article content at the top
5) send the message (in HTML format) to myself
6) Get the message, it display correctly
7) Reply to the message, works fine, signatures at the bottom (both of them)
8) Forward the message (the one from step 6), again every thing is fine

Reporter, can you test using a recent build?

Hello,

I followed your steps and got another problem as bug173012.
Now I use Mozilla 1.1 in Win2000.
Thanks :)
