Ubuntu 18.10, Wayland, Yaru theme, default Firefox theme and titlebar enabled.
mozilla.widget.use-argb-visuals = true

STR:

  1. Repeatedly move cursor left-right into titlebar-buttonbox-container and watch the right titlebar corner get darker.
  2. Move cursor outside titlebar and the corner returns to normal transparency.

With Wayland backend enabled it is easier to trigger anywhere in the titlebar and more persistent, with both corners affected.

Does not happen with WebRender enabled (XWayland).

Yes, I can see that.

Kestrel, is that still an issue?

It's still here but it's Wayland only.

Martin, given that 67 will be released after Fedora 30 (which I believe ships mid April?), is it safe to assume that Wayland support for Firefox is now targeting Fedora 31 and there will be no wayland uplift requests to 67?

You're right, there's no need to uplift Wayland patches to 67. Would be good to have 68 in a good shape on Wayland as it becomes next ESR, next Thunderbird may be based on it and so on.

Thanks Martin, I'll mark Wayland regressions as wontfix for 67 then.

I can't reproduce this on Wayland any more, neither using basic nor Webrender.
