Details
Affected versions:
Nightly 67.0a1 - aarch64 Windows 10 x64
Beta 66.0b14 aarch64 Windows 10 x64
Affected platforms:
Laptop Lenovo Yoga - Windows 10 x64
Steps to reproduce:
- Launch Firefox
- Go to https://www.twitch.tv/
- Click on any live channel
- After the live stream is loaded go back to the Discovery page (first tab on the left side "Discovery")
The previous live stream should be played back in the corner minimized - Click on Play for the stream that is in the discovery tray
Expected:
The minimized stream should be paused and the one in the discovery tray should be played back.
Actual::
The system crashes if the user keeps switching between playing the minimized stream or the one in the discovery tray.
Note:
Previously, the streams would not load on ARM64. After the fix for Bug 1521939, the streams are played back but the system crashes often by following the above steps. The crashes are the same blue screen error as in Bug 1533025.
Hi Anthony, Chuck, would you consider this a QCMVP blocker? Just wanted to make sure we triage it as a non-blocker.

My inclination is that it's not a blocker for 66, but may be a candidate for 67 depending on the cause and technical lift.

Could not crash the system using the steps from above on the latest RC candidate aarch 66.0.1 build, build ID: 20190322013140.
By following the steps twitch videos get stuck for a moment, a green screen may also be displayed but most importantly we observed that windows system displays a notification: https://imgur.com/a/AtnjAaI
This should be fixed by 1548410
