1547339 - Thunderbird (v60.6.1, v60.7.0 and v60.8.0) crashes after sending email

Description

Attachment: crashlog posted to "send to apple" dialog box by Thunderbird after crash.

Steps followed:

• start Thunderbird, load email in IMAP inbox.
• find an email in inbox and click reply
• compose reply email and hit send
• while email is sending, archive the email from inbox to archive folder.
• thunderbird finishes sending the email, then intermittently crashes.
• on restarting Thunderbird, I see the email was successfully sent. I also confirm that the email was received by others.

Note: I think this happens even when I wait for email to finish sending completely before I archive from my inbox.

Note: I think that this only happens when replying to an email in my inbox. I do not remember this happening when composing new email but I'll update this ticket if I notice any pattern here.

Note: unknown if this is os-specific. I am running on MacBookPro running OSX 10.14.4.

I've attached a crash log from most recent crash. Let me know if any other info would help debug this.

Likely Bug 1525001 - Thunderbird hangs sending mail on Mac OS X - one of our more popular models for Mac folks.
But there is also Bug 1365600 - Crash in shutdownhang | __psynch_cvwait | _pthread_cond_wait | pthread_cond_signal_thread_np [Mac] (engimail/password)

TB 60.6.1 just crashed now while sending new email to new person (not while sending a reply). Updating here as promised. Also see attached crash log.

Crashed again today, immediately after sending an email. See attached crashdump.

(Updated summary as I had upgraded to 60.7.0 earlier this week. Still crashing intermittently, the same way.)

Another crash. Like others, this happens:

• after clicking send and successfully sending email.
• before cursor returns focus to any other open Thunderbird window.

Note: this is on Max OSX 10.14.6 running Thunderbird 60.8.0.

attachment 9090518 [details] cites CGLClearDrawable, so Bug 1381485 - Hangs frequently while sending imap mail while copying message to imap Sent folder on Mac. - displaying the progress bar. No problem if Sent is set to local folder. Deadlock on CGLClearDrawable.
