We would like to be able to run A/B experiments in GeckoView-powered apps (like Fenix).

GeckoView can report legacy Gecko telemetry, but Fenix can only report Glean metrics so we can get Gecko telemetry from GeckoView in Focus but not in Fenix. Bug 1561018 will add GeckoView support for Glean. Until then, Fenix bug https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues/3631 is a request to temporarily re-enable Gecko telemetry in Fenix.

The Graphics team wants to run A/B experiments to test WebRender on Android (bug 1485449).
