User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:71.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/71.0

Steps to reproduce:

When installing a web extension that uses the Tab Hide API or triggering some action that hides / un-hides certain tabs with that extension, the doorhanger “Access Your Hidden Tabs” (added at bug 1438363) is shown. For example: Drive4ik’s Simple Tab Groups.

Actual results:

This doorhanger’s height is too small. The two buttons “Keep Tabs Hidden” and “Disable Extension” are cut off. They appear to be blank. When focusing it, e.g. the “Learn more” link, then tabbing to focus one of the buttons, both buttons get displayed fully, while the content of the pop-up appears to scroll down.

A related bug has already been reported at bug 1364574, but was marked as WORKSFORME; when I commented about this issue, I was asked to report a new bug. A discussion on a related GitHub issue for the extension revealed that this affects other users.

I’m reporting this in the 70 Branch—this issue occured before Nightly 71 and it likely even occured before 70, too; just can’t remember exactly.

Expected results:

The height should be big enough. The doorhanger should appear as it has been introduced in bug 1438363 (e.g. refer to the GIF attachment)

Component: Untriaged → Frontend

Version: 70 Branch → Firefox 70

The issue can be reproduced on the latest Nightly (71.0a1/20190910213950) and Beta (70.0b5/20190909162732) by following the above STR under Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and macOS High Sierra 10.13.6.

Attempted to reproduce the issue on the latest Release version (69.0/20190827005903), however, with no success in replicating the results. The two buttons “Keep Tabs Hidden” and “Disable Extension” are fully displayed on the Release version of Firefox.
