I normally run Thunderbird with the Today Pane visible, and with the tasks in the Today Pane sorted by due date. After keeping Thunderbird open for some time, the tasks spontaneously un-sort themselves. For example, I've just returned to the office after leaving Thunderbird unattended overnight, and I see that my tasks are no longer sorted by due date; instead, they are in no particular order.
I don't know exactly what triggers this bug, but it happens at least a couple times per day. (Perhaps this bug is related to Bug 1560547, which I am also suffering from?)
I am using Thunderbird 68.1.0 and Lightning 68.1.0 on openSUSE Tumbleweed.

Persist sort order is broken in Lightning 68.1.0 and ought to be fixed with Bug 1581411 in next release, probably Lightning 68.1.1 or 68.2.0.

OK, so this is a dupe of Bug 1581411?
I would have specified the Lightning version in the "Version" field of this report, but my version "68.1.0" is not listed there.

Haven't been able to reproduce the issue lately (now running Lightning 68.6.0). I will tentatively close this as a duplicate of Bug 1581411.
