Actual results:

Dictionaries for languages available on the system not automatically available

Expected results:

Dictionaries for languages available on the system automatically available

Given that Firefox doesn't have this functionality, I wouldn't expect this to exist in Thunderbird any time soon either. I mean, I don't even think we provide dictionaries in general except for en-US? They're community maintained, with various levels of maintenance, and sometimes there's more than one for a given language, and also some for things that aren't languages(medical terms, etc).

This is somewhere between invalid and wontfix. I was under the impression that some language packs also contained a dictionary, but that was wishful thinking.
