Over at bug 1554761 I made an attempt at converting the string handling in the findbar modules over to Fluent.
I couldn't finish it there, because I hit a performance issue when using only the recommended APIs, but didn't when caching the strings local to findbar code. More time to investigate is needed, but since I currently don't have the cycles available, decided to split-off the work to a separate bug.
