User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:70.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/70.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Drag the attached file "EMLimportFailingExample.eml" into a mail folder (the message is not imported)
- Open the file EMLimportFailingExample.eml in a text editor and remove a single character of the message. Save as "EMLimportWorkingExample.eml".
- Drag the attached file "EMLimportWorkingExample.eml" into a mail folder (the message is imported)
Actual results:
EMLimportFailingExample.eml (10.240 Bytes) is not imported, EMLimportWorkingExample.eml is imported. The latter has just a single character less (10.239 Bytes).
Expected results:
Both files should have been imported independent from their size.

Tristan, does this reproduce for you?
Or bug 1888393?

Not reproducible for me with Thunderbird 128.5.1esr (64-bit) on openSUSE Tumbleweed. Dragging from a file manager into a local folder works, as does dragging into an IMAP folder.
