we have an addressbook with a few hundred entry's. We have to categorize these
in various addreslists. dragging addresses to a designated list works if it is
newly created but fails most (if not all) of the time with already existing lists.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.open addressbook, having various addresslists
2. drag address from addressbook onto listicon on leftside
3.
Actual Results: sometimes the emailaddess link is copied to the list, sometimes
it is not. especilally when you have some existing lists. a new list mostly works
The problem also appears in Netscape 6.2
Expected Results: copy the email link to the targetted list.
very annoying because it hinders effectively to manage a number of lists.

Summary: dragging mail addresse to specific lists doesn't work → dragging mail address to specific lists doesn't work
Reporter: can you retest this with a newer build?
Also, there is a bug with the list display not updating properly yet the card is
actually there. See bug 143355. Is this what you're seeing? If you force the
list to refresh, do the copied cards appear?

This works for me (Moz 1.7.7, TB 1.0.2, etc.), and reporter has not responded.
