editing filter hangs in 68.3.1

Steps to reproduce:
Update from 60.9.1 to 68.3.1. Edit a filter.
Actual results:
Hangs. Coming back to 60.9.1, the problem disappears.
Expected results:
Editing filter should be almost immediate.

Does it also happen after Help > restart with addons disabled?

Sorry I cannot try easily because I downgraded to 60.9.1. Is it possible to use both versions with the same data without damage?
I have no add-on anyway. I only have the extension Lightning (calendar). I deactivate it now because I don't use it.
There is already an error with 60.9.1: "Filter From failed". I suspect that this filter has become corrupt or simply too big. Is there a limit on filter size?
The same failure may cause 68.3.1 hanging.
I am going to watch the problem on 60.9.1 and try to solve it, then I will reinstall 68.3.1.

I'm unsure how to install multiple versions on Mac, but you can have multiple profiles https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/using-multiple-profiles
