User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:71.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/71.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Open Firefox.
- View my extensions (about:addons)
- View details for one of my extensions by clicking on it
- Type something
Actual results:
Firefox starting search for what I typed on the page
Expected results:
Firefox should have not searched for anything. This is a major issue because some web extensions have text inputs on their options page, and currently we cannot type anything in them. Copy/Paste works though.

[Tracking Requested - why for this release]: If accessibility.typeaheadfind = true, you cannot enter anything in the add-on options textbox
I can reproduce the issue if accessibility.typeaheadfind turn on
STR:
- Check "Search for text when you start typing" in about:preferences
- Install an addon e.g. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/media-keys/
- Open Addons Manager and the extensions option and try to input text in add-on options textbox
