Steps to reproduce:

After the automatic update to Thuderbird 68.3.1 it crashed at start up of thunderbird.
Tried 72.0beta same result.

Actual results:

Automatic update to Thunderbird 68.3.1
Start application via desktop or start menu, does not make any difference.

For 72.0beta:
Download and install beta.
Start application (desktop and start menu tested)

In both cases Thunderbird does not start.
It presents the crash reporter.

Expected results:

I expected, that the application started as usually.

I also added the Files LastCrash and InstallTime<Number>

I also like to mention: with the 68.3.1 build for british english it works fine. Problem occured with the german installer / application.

Try adding Thunderbird.exe to BitDefender's exclusion list.
