Actual results:

Please just have a look on screenshot attached

Expected results:

Your screen shot shows there should be additional content for the message list "off screen", to the right side. Or did you crop the screen shot.

see also bug 1609391

Yes I crop it but on the right hand site there is no choice of 'subject' in the list of column.

Please post the uncropped image. Thanks

IPlease find photo as unable to make a screenshot with this list

Does the Subject column reappear if you deselect the Date column?

It does in my test as best as I can reproduce your settings.

You just may need to resize it then add the Date column back.

With everything in the "Select columns to display" list unchecked, Subject is the only column that appears in the Thread pane.

Hi
I have unticked all columns but "subject" is still missing. However this bug happens now with only 1 folder (templates) and other thing quite weird: there is a sub-folder working perfectly fine.
I do not understand why "subject" is not coming up in the columns list??

I'm stumped.

Could you try selecting the Templates folder.
Right-click on it.
Select Properties.
Click the "Repair Folder" button.

All sorted now. Many thanks

All sorted now. Many thanks

as in, you know what caused the problem in the first place?

No specific reason to my knowledge: no change of device, no change of OS, normal use of TB. Happened as a sudden...Weird
