    or
  3. Toggle the context menu for the password field -> Use Generated Password...

Expected result:

Actual results:
Autocomplete dropdown is not visible with Ambiance (default) theme

Regression-range:
Mozregression couldn't go further than this, pushlog: https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?fromchange=272e82616218411bfb0b89ef7c710cd65830ece1&tochange=263963426b561b2aa687aeeaeddc4fd93fff9e57
Not sure what to call out from here as it affects only ubuntu with that specific theme.

Setting up regressionwindow-wanted in hope someone could get a more accurate pushlog.

Maybe this is caused by Bug 1625721.

Hey Matt, Would you mind setting a priority for this one? Also, do you think this is in the right component?

Now that bug 1632488 is fixed I wonder if this is fixed too? Does the issue apply to all autocomplete in the content (web page) area or only password manager ones? e.g. what about the demo at the top of https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/datalist?

(In reply to Rachel Tublitz [:rachel] from comment #3)

Also, do you think this is in the right component?

No, I don't think so but I also don't know which one it belongs in because the regression range is so wide.

If it's specific to the OS theme is could be a GTK issue but it could also be CSS if that theme triggers dark mode detection or something like that…

Component: Password Manager → Themes

Verified on the latest Nightly and it is fixed! And yes, it also affected the autocomplete on the https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/datalist page, checked it out once again on the affected Nightly build.
Closing it as resolved:wfm.
