I'm requesting a gecko-t-osx-1014 machine to debug a test failure for bug 1549046.

An example failure is on this task https://firefox-ci-tc.services.mozilla.com/tasks/fB487WQqSB-7bY7IgfdKcg

I created a puppet branch to pin the #388 macos mojave worker to a new workerType, bug1634095_debug-loaner.
https://firefox-ci-tc.services.mozilla.com/provisioners/releng-hardware/worker-types/gecko-t-osx-1014-bug1634095

I tried re-running failed task against it, but got failures for a mount dependency.

I created a puppet branch to pin the #388 macos mojave worker to a new workerType, bug1634095_debug-loaner.
https://firefox-ci-tc.services.mozilla.com/provisioners/releng-hardware/worker-types/gecko-t-osx-1014-bug1634095

I tried re-running failed task against it, but got failures for a mount dependency.

If I can ssh in, I could test setting the background without needing all the artifacts mounted and that might let me narrow down what is failing.

I emailed Haik with the information to access the loaner

Preparation for this was: set up a user:pass, removed secrets, created a new loaner tc client+secret (1 month expiration), tested tasks were picked up by the machine from the new workertype, and changed the firewall to allow access through the corp jumphost (I tested ssh and vnc).

Hi Haik, I'm assigning this bug to you for tracking the macos loaner.

When you're finished, please comment here in the bug, and mark the bug as fixed.

Haik is not able the reach the loaner through the vpn or corp jumphost. Haik pointed me to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1446524#c1 where the host, and user, needed to be in the ldap group "vpn_releng_loan". Likely this is still required.

I can access the loaner successfully now. Thanks.

Thanks Haik! Please ping me at any time if you have a problem on the loaner or want another set of eyes on the bug.

Thanks. I'll return it to the production pool and remove your access to it.
